Medication Management
Many times people benefit from medications, especially for mental health needs, that require the services of a psychiatrist or medical provider. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Addiction Specialists will complete evaluations and assessments with you in order to outline a comprehensive plan of care which may include medication.

Residential Treatment
Our Residential Treatment Centers house girls and boys separately. The six-month program is open to youth ages 13-18. During their stay, clients learn how to make healthy choices and take responsibility for their lives through individual and group counseling, family counseling and evidenced based programming. This program partners with the United Way of Greater Portland and is licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Outpatient Care
Counseling and Outpatient Psychiatry is staffed by state licensed clinical staff committed to promoting healthy living and the wellbeing of all individuals and families. The goal is to assist children, adolescents, and adults to bring about positive change in behavior patterns, social and psychological functioning, and in problems with conduct, identity, anxiety, affect, adjustment, impulse control, and other mental health disorders. Outpatient Psychiatric services include medication consultation and management, and psycho-education about pharmaceutical treatment. All of the Outpatient Mental Health Services are licensed by the Department of Health and Human Services and are provided via telehealth, in person, and in certain school systems. Services are also provided in collaboration with the Teen Center for Homeless Youth.

Case Management
Behavioral Health Home (BHH), Targeted and Adult Case Management are programs licensed by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services to work collaboratively alongside the families or the client to improve the overall level of functioning for the individual in need. This is accomplished through increased advocacy, connection with financial and therapeutic resources, referrals for evaluations and additional services as needed. TCM serves children and our BHH program serves both children and adult while our CI program work with adults.

Telehealth Services
Day One offers in-office as well as telehealth appointments for some of our services.
